Dear colleague, We are pleased to let you know that our latest update on the repowering trends and statistics are now available on the WindEurope Intelligence Platform. Here are some of the key findings: We expect 9 GW of repowered capacity to come online in Europe between 2023 and 2030. Over the next 8 years to 2030 83 GW of installed wind capacity will become 15 years old in Europe. Wind farms are repowered on average after 17 years of operating. On average, repowered wind farms in Europe bring: 25% fewer wind turbines, 4 x power output per turbine, and 3 x power output per wind farm. Click here to see our analysis.
