You are invited to submit papers for the third Wind Value Conference to be held in University College Cork on Thursday 4th September 2025. The conference will begin after 10am and finish before 5pm. The topic is on the broad theme of, “The Business, Economic and Financial aspects of Wind Energy”, and may include:
- Offshore or onshore wind
- End-of-Life issues for wind farms
- Integration of wind and other types of energy
- O&M aspects of wind energy
- Electricity market integration with renewables
- Fault prediction and maintenance
- Communities and renewable energy
- Material supply chains for wind farms
- Financial risk modelling for wind farms
- Communities and the energy transition
- All topics for the Special Issue of the Journal of Economic Surveys, “The Economics of Wind Energy”
A full paper or an extended abstract in a pdf file may be submitted to conference@windvalue.ie by 10th August for consideration. Decisions will be notified to presenters before 15th August. Enquiries about admissibility can be directed to peter.deeney@ucc.ie
Papers accepted for the conference may be submitted to a special issue of Journal of Economic Surveys (Wiley, ABS 2), on “The Economics of Wind Energy”, subject to the usual publication requirements for the journal.
